Bug: Water entries duplicate and custom logs disappear when switching app language from English
Mikhail Nechaev
Description:
When using the app in English, water logs are grouped and displayed correctly. However, if the app language is switched to another, like my examples, Russian and Turkish, the UI fails to group water entries properly.
This results in duplicate "Water" category blocks, and custom-volume entries (e.g., 438 ml) disappear from the detailed list breakdown, even though they are still included in the total sum.
Steps to reproduce:
Set the app language to English.
Log multiple water entries, including at least one custom volume (e.g., 250 ml, 438 ml, and 250 ml). Note that they are correctly grouped under one "Water" header.
Switch the app language to another language in my examples, Russian or Turkish.
Log a new water entry using one of the preset quick-add buttons (such as "+250 ml").
Observe the "Liquids" section.
Expected behavior:
All logged water entries should remain grouped under a single translated header.
All individual logs, including custom volumes, should be fully visible in the breakdown list with correct timestamps.
Actual behavior:
Upon switching the language, the existing water group simply changes its name (e.g., to "Вода" or "Su"). However, once you log a new water entry using the quick-add buttons (+250 ml, etc.), the app fails to append it to the existing group. Instead, it creates a duplicate, separate group section for the same liquid type.
Additionally, the list of previous individual logs under the first group becomes completely hidden/invisible (including the custom 438 ml entry), even though the total volume in that header still shows the correct sum.
Attachments:
Screenshot_English.png: Shows the correct grouping in English (938 ml composed of 250 ml, 438 ml, and 250 ml logs).
Screenshot_Russian.png: Shows that under the Russian localization, the 938 ml header only displays a single 250 ml log (the custom 438 ml is missing from the list), and a duplicate "Вода" section is created at the bottom.
Screenshot_Turkish.png: Shows that the bug also occurs in Turkish, creating duplicate "Su" sections.
